Google has released an updated version of the YouTube android app that will let users to push a YouTube video from their android smartphones to their Google TV box. The updated YouTube android app comes with a “TV” button which is located just beside the traditional “share” button at the top of the screen.
How does it work? It’s actually simple. All you need to do is have your phone or tablet on the same WiFi network as your Google TV device and the devices pair themselves for you. If you have done all that, After you’ve done all that, just launch the YouTube app on your Android device and select the video you wish to play on the big screen. Now tap the “TV” button and you are all set.
You can also add additional videos to the TV Queue, without interrupting current video playback. Using this feature your friends or family members on the same Wi-Fi network can also create playlists for you. They all can do it from their own android device. Not only that they can also stop, pause, play, and skip currently playing videos.
